About Jane Schooler, San Diego Divorce Mediator and Attorney

Jane Schooler is a mediator, attorney, and real estate broker. Jane has been an attorney since 1987 and a mediator since 1996. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego and Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Ms Schooler's mediation training is with Pepperdine University Law School, The Academy of Dispute Resolution and Coast to Coast Mediation Center. As an attorney, Jane has worked for the County of San Diego and in private practice.

She is the past chair of the Alternate Dispute Resolution and Attorney/Realtor sections of the San Diego County Bar Association. Jane is a past member of the San Diego Superior Court ADR Bench/Bar Committee, the Board of Directors of the local ACR chapter and the San Diego Association of Realtors Risk Reduction Committee.

Jane is a frequent speaker on ADR topics. She acted as moderator for the San Diego County Bar Association meeting on Professionalism and Ethics in ADR. She recently spoke to new attorneys about Alternate Dispute Resolution at the Bar’s “Bridging the Gap program. Jane has spoken on the topic of divorce mediation to students at California western School of Law, Thomas Jefferson School of Law and Attorneys at the San Diego County Bar Association.
